2021! It’s been a strange year and honestly I’ve forgotten how much I’ve actually done. Seen some of the most incredible tribes and wilderness on earth, realised childhood dreams to walk alone in Karnak, was best man at a Big Fat Greek wedding, so so many precious family memories these past 12 months, snuggles in bed with the youngest Claytons and my dogs, even visited my old school, crossed Red Zones, explored the great pyramid, was alone in the most famous tombs, lived with Maasai, stayed in one of the most beautiful hotels in the world, climbed barefoot on ancient trees, canoed on lakes full of hippos, lots of memories with friends and some of the most amazing and funny people on earth, and then a classic English Christmas to top it all off… I’m almost confused as to how life can be so vibrant even when the world is closing in around us. There is a lot to be grateful for. Here’s to the new year. It’s only a calendar thing but it’s an excuse to start making things happen, to live out loud no matter what, and to walk truly and fully in the power of the heart. Jx
