10+ years of Travel ~ My Journey

I came into this life with humble beginnings – and I seek a humble ending. But what I look for along the way is to acquire a life worth living, a day worth getting out of bed for, a smile worth sharing, a hand worth holding. A place worth finding. I just want to look back at my time and regret only things I did do
never something I didn’t.”

The voice of God can be found amongst the highest mountains, and between the smallest grains of sand… if you only have the ears to hear it. The essence of a pilgrimage is to move, yet, at some point along the way, you realise you do not move at all ~ the pilgrimage moves you.”

Mostly I have travelled solo, and lived in different parts of our wide and wonderful world… yet I am never alone for long. I learn about the world by living with its People ~ ‘the jewel in the crown of Creation…’

I will be forever thankful to all those who have been a part of this journey, both on the road, and here, on this site… to me, the comments and emails I received are the real treasures of this world. This is my Global Pilgrimage ~ the story of my life, and the people and places which become a part of my story along the way. I am forever in awe. This is my expression of awe. One of deep love, for humanity, our potential, and the truth in the world; the truth of our deepest hearts. This is my art, my little creation, my devotion to the works of a Higher Creation.

“The Truth shall make you free…” – Jesus, the Christ

Seek, and truly you will find…

This pilgrimage has taught me many things, about the ‘kosmos’ and myself. It has taught me to love more, to let go… to seek, to forgive… to move more… and most importantly how to be still. This journey has taught me that we are surrounded by both Truth and Lie at all times, and that the Lie is much easier to believe. We believe others are different from us, but this is the biggest lie in the universe. I travel to all places and see the same love in peoples’ eyes. Love is the light of humanity. It connects us all. The natural world is full of signs. Every life is unique and cannot be compared to another. Everything is connected.

“Know the world in yourself. Never look for yourself in the world, for this would be to project your illusion…”
– Ancient Egyptian Proverb

“I have looked in all places, behind every door, and into the eyes of many worldly men. The only lasting thing I have found, of any value and perpetual comfort to my soul, is an undoubted belief in God. I owe my life, and all its deeds, to He…” – 2019

Thank you for joining me!
I love to read and respond to your comments. Keep the flame of faith sheltered in your heart… Shine Your Light. Always explore. Always seek. Always forgive. Always love! Love is the only Truth that will remain when all other things fade away… Trust me, you can travel the whole world and learn nothing… the greatest voyage is the one taken through infinite realms of the soul.

“A bucketlist isn’t freedom for me. The ability to travel unhindered is not freedom to me. Living between boundaries of fear is not freedom for me. Freedom for me is beholding the night’s sky, walking barefoot at dawn, raising my hands in worship, chanting from the depths of my soul with the wind in my hair. Freedom for me is embracing my brother humanity in prayer and love. Freedom for me is my undefinable, unbreakable belief in the Great Spirit of Life, in the One Divine. No matter what happens, these things can never be taken from me.”

  5. Great blog. You really do have a good sense of aesthetics (this coming from the daughter of an art critic 😉
Your writings, travels and videos fascinate me. Are you a TCK too?

    1. Well that really is a compliment, thank you! I’m really glad some of my little creations have reached you… and the answer is no! I grew up in England and didn’t start exploring other cultures until my early 20s! I’ve been making up for lost time ever since… Jx

      1. Well, coming from a TCK, I will give you another compliment: you are very good at exploring and enjoying other cultures. Many people who grow up in one country never develop the ability to experience other cultures as deeply as we do. You are really diving deep and I love it! I truly enjoy your videos and writings. I think many TCKs would enjoy your blog too. They might be a good target audience for you 🙂

        1. Thank you so much… I take that as a massive compliment, I really do. Connecting with all people is indeed a passion of mine. And has been my greatest teacher about this world. I will keep in mind what you say and your advice… means a lot 🙏🏼☺️

  6. From: Sir Jorgensen, it is my pleasure to share and participate with you. This is my essential prayer, a blessing if you will, I would offer reminding me that the virtues found in the key attributes of everyones character bringing us all together to sit at the table of life feasting upon the great ancient teachings as if to say speaking from the dust, “hear, here are the blessings we offer from our day to bless you in your day,” as part of the fabric of life’s tapestries propelling our modern days existences and, “telling us we are grateful and so glad we could invent the wheel and are excited to see your modern day inventions of the planes and rockets of life.” Where we appreciate bringIng those things into existences from our day spoken into the existences as gifts we weave into the tapestries of future generations of time that intrinsic to the involvement of life.

Have a wonderful day, ya’ll from my table of life to yours. Don’t forget to have desert. Choose preferred and likely and live well!

      Forever your brother-in-Christ… James x

  9. James, thank you for following us (husband and wife team). Really enjoyed reading your story, getting to know you, and connecting with a brother in Christ. Mike and I both like to travel (well, I should say “liked”, getting to an age where staying home sounds great!), plus we live in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, in the heart of six National Parks. Sometimes it feels like heaven and we pinch ourselves to find out if we are still alive. Come and visit us when you are in the area. We have lots of room and enjoy sharing our home as well as being tour guides around here.
We also enjoy taking photos. God is such an awesome creator and artist. There is always a different view even though you look at the same mountain over and over again. A different time of day, a different season, sun or rain – it’s all beautiful in itself! Take care, enjoy God’s great creation, and blessings, Elfriede

    1. Hello Mike and Elfriede! Your comment made my chest well up with joy… a joy I know you would both understand. You are a total inspiration to me and I pray to one day follow a similar path to you and settle somewhere ‘like heaven’, to devote myself to prayer and writing and appreciation of God’s precious Creation… if God allows my bones to grow old and my flesh to age.

And I would love to visit one day, thank you for the offer, from my heart. Means so much. Once all this madness in the world passes and I can move again.

May Our Eternal Father bless you both always, illuminate your soul and put a fire in your hearts.
Shalom from your bother in Christ Jesus, always and ever, in Truth.
      James x

    1. Nick, thank YOU! My pleasure. Just saved your comment from the spam folder… maybe someone is against us… God has given us so much and I am so honoured to share what little I have seen and learnt with any who will receive it. I am always learning and forever the novice. I wish you all the best. May every blessing of our Creator shine upon you, now and always.

      Jx

    1. Thank you so much David Orth ! I am very humbled to share this journey, I have been blessed to witness all this, this beauty in Creation and Man, not of my own strength or wisdom but of the true Light of the Earth. It is my deepest honour to share with those who have eyes to see and hearts to receive. Thank you again. From my heart.
